Currently, I am working for Microsoft Research (New England), under the auspices of danah boyd.
I am also a lead researcher for the Web Ecology Project. I write about people’s perceptions of and interactions with social platforms online, and how these cultural experiences shape the use of these systems. My research has been featured in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy Magazine, Fast Company, The Huffington Post, and CNN.
I am also a researcher for the Convergence Culture Consortium in the Comparative Media Studies department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). You can view my writing here.
