You were well-spoken, insightful, and hilarious to boot. This was my first anime convention and I was a bit dubious by what I would encounter there, but I have to say that your talk was a pleasant surprise. Eva was really the first anime I got into not because of its typical mech aspects or "hot girls," but rather because of its deeper philosophical questions and messages. I was really impressed with the way you blended academia with anime (I also would have liked to have gone to your panel on this on Sunday but I couldn't attend that day :s) to understand it further is amazing.
